I used Tim's compass Mini Mask and sprayed the tag with color wash in espresso, red pepper and butterscotch Color Wash. Then I misted with a little water to help the colours blend. I removed the mask and misted with water again to let the colour seep into the previously masked area. Then I ran the tag threw the Big Shot with the Tall Pines Folder. Next I inked a piece of Grunge Board with mustard seed, spiced marmalade and brushed corduroy Distress Inks and stamped the saying on using black Archival Ink. I then stamped the question mark with Distress Embossing Ink and covered it with black soot Distress Embossing Powder and melted it. I added the Grunge Board with the saying using foam tabs. Finally, I added the needle to the compass, the lens over the question mark, jute twine and a frame with a little kitty in it attached with a mini paper clip.
Have a great week!

This is beautiful with great combination of techniques and elements. Well done.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful combination of colors, Meg! You did such a great job on GM03-- the masking looks great, and the embossing gives the tag such great texture. Really smart use of the sentiment, too, and the little question mark is a brilliant touch!
